Robert Guy Ritchie III

Born in Fort Walton, FL, he was the son of the late Robert Guy Ritchie, Jr. and Voncylle Jones Ritchie.

In addition to his parents, his grandparents, Robert Guy Ritchie, Sr. and May Boyd Ritchie and Elige and Glovie Jones, also precede him in death.

Robert moved to Landis, NC during childhood where he currently resided. He graduated from South Rowan Senior High School and NC State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Chemistry. He worked in the Textile Industry for many years.

Robert was a retired teacher assistant from Jesse Carson High School, where he worked in the special needs classroom. He was active with The Arc of NC, benefiting special needs individuals.

He loved camping with his family and friends. All that knew him will miss him dearly.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 years, Trisha Peeler Ritchie; brother and sister-in-law, Cullen and Susan Ritchie; sister and brother-in-law, Tanya and Terrey Canup and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

The family will hold a private service.
