He was born on March 24, 1967 in Charleston S.C. to Virginia Dunn
Simmons and Phillip M. Simmons. He was a graduate of the University
of Arkansas at Little Rock. He married Shonda Roberts in 1995. Together
they had one daughter Tristen Nicole Simmons.
Ron loved football and truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with family
and friends. Ron adored his only child and his
Chihuahua "Binky". He is gone to the Lord and we will rejoice in his memory.
A private service to commemorate his life was held on September 16, 2017 at
Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, NC 28023.
