Sandra Elizabeth Heilig

Mrs. Sandra Elizabeth Crowell Heilig, 55 of China Grove passed away on Monday September 4, 2017 at her residence. Born on May 7, 1962 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine Beaver Crowell. A graduate of North Rowan High School, she worked for many years at Cannon Mills and also with her husband at Gold Rush Motorsports. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Christopher D. Powles, step daughter Samantha Heilig and brother Alan Crowell Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tim Heilig Sr., her daughters April Runkel and husband Daniel and Dana Powles, and step son Timothy “T.J.” Heilig Jr. as well as brother Randy Crowell and sister Wendy Coish. Her grandchildren are Blake Runkel, Hunter Powles and Kaylee Powles. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 til 6:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral to follow at 6:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Mitch Carlyle, minister.
