Carol Ann Jackson, age 79, of San Bernardino, California passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, September 27, 2024. Carol was born in Blythe, California to Lucille A. Furhman and Morris W. Phillips.
Carol is survived by her High School Sweetheart, her loving husband of 61 years, Mr. James F. Jackson; her loving children; her sons, James W. Jackson, Dwayne Jackson; and Steven Jackson; and her daughter Tammy Lundeen. She is also survived by her pride and joy, her 11 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren. Her sister Donna Sterling and her brother Mark Phillips who will all cherish her memory.
Carol was preceded in death by her father Morris W. Phillips and her mother Lucille A. Furhman. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Steven Phillips.
Carol was a caring loving wife, mother and grandmother who never put anything before her family. Family was her everything. She took pleasure in cooking and providing for her family. Carol enjoyed arts and crafts and making quilts for her loved ones. Memories for them to keep.
Carol absolutely adored children. She was a Teachers Aid for 41 years. It all started when she sat in with her daughter Tammy in Kindergarten. That's when she realized she had passion as a teacher. The love she had shown not only to her own children and grandchildren but to others, never went unnoticed. All of her students adored her. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
Mrs. Jackson also leaves behind numerous family and friends to cherish her memory.
