I was saddened to hear of Claire's passing. Growing up  in the Fargo area left few chances to visit with our California relatives. I remember Uncle Herman's visit to mom and dad's  and had the opportunity to visit once when Clair passed thru the area on a visit. Over the years I had the opportunity to visit with Cousin Clair while working on family history.  Email and Facebook contact over the years. My regret was that in person contact was sparse.  With Claire's passing another chapter in the Landsem  family , comes to a close. I will always charish the memory of my Cousin. Condolences to all!

It is with sad hearts for Cheri and I to know Clair has passed. He was the best civil superintendent I had ever worked with. Knew how to "get er done" he never did a challenge the hard way, he found short cuts to make the hard projects become achievable with first class workmanship. I always enjoyed his poker games, and shooting trap with him. I made sure not to win big in poker as I stood next to him on the trap stations were he had a 12 gauge !!I salute my friend and USN Seabee. Cheers, Dan & Cheri Fraser
