David Joseph Martinez

David Joseph Martinez, 54, of Ontario, passed away on April 6, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5, 1958 in Tucson, Arizona and lived in Ontario for 27 years. David was a correctional officer for the C.I.M. in Chino for 24 years until his retirement on December 31, 2012. He attended Nogales High School and was a faithful parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino. David is survived by his loving wife Sandra Lynn Martinez of 28 years; sons Larry Morales, David Martinez Jr, and Damian Martinez; daughter Brittany Onaga and his first Granddaughter Aria is expected to arrive June 16, 2013. The Martinez family extends their sincerest thanks for the continued love and support that was shown to them during the last 9 months; through their journey with David. A visitation will take place Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5-8 pm, Rosary will begin at 7 pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10 am also at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona.
