God will definitely show us the way to smiling again. I know this experience will change everyone forever. Just remember all the good times we've shared with 6chiak and all the love he gave us throughout the years. He is not gone. He will live in our hearts forever. We'll truly miss 6chiak.

I still remember his soft-spoken and  amiable ways, his loving support for his children and grandchildren and most of all his sweetness to you Mading Cora. His life was well spent and served. He has been a good provider as well as earned the trust and admiration of his friends and the community. Through his illness, he has patiently endured the many symptoms. You had been such a great Uncle, Uncle John...You had shown what it means to care for the family.  The difference in culture did not prevent you from expressing your love and concern for us.  We would never forget the times when you would visit us, together with Aunt Cora and the whole family, to support and help us during the Mt. Pinatubo Eruption and its aftermath.  And it did not stop there.  Even when the Lord made a way for us to go to other country, you played a big part in helping us get there.  We thank the Lord for your life.  I wish I had called you before you went home.  Words are not enough to express our gratitude for being there in times of plenty and in times of want.  May the Lord continue to bless your family, Uncle John.  The last time we talked over the phone, you were so excited to invite us to your wedding anniversary next year.  Without you knowing it, we were preparing to be there.  Though it was not meant to be,nevertheless, your life had all been a blessing to all of us.

Uncle John, maraming-maraming salamat sa iyo.  You were one of my best mentors, together with Aunt Cora.  You will be missed by everyone.
