

John Franklin Bailey, 69, of Chino, passed away on October 23, 2017 at Pomona Valley Medical Center in Pomona with his family by his side. He was born September 15, 1948 in Paintsville, Kentucky and lived in Chino for 27 years. John lived in West Covina for 18 years, prior to moving to Chino.
Working hard and providing for his family was something John strived for. He was a dedicated maintenance mechanic for Golden State Foods for 25 years. He received his Associates Degree while attending Mount SAC as a young man.
From July of 1968 to July of 1970, John dedicated his life to serving in the Army. He courageously served in Vietnam from January of 1969 to January of 1970. He was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 1944 and the 1st Cavalry Air Mobil Charlie Company 2-12.
John loved his family and is survived by his wife Becky; son Michael; daughter Malinda; son-in-law Jonathon Sudduth; granddaughter Makayla; grandson Kyle; brother Joseph; sister-in-law Sherry and sister-in-law Gerry. John is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Wilda Bailey and his brother James. He will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at Funeraria del Angel Pierce Bros Griffith, in Chino. Inurnment will be 1:31 p.m., at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside; staging area #7. Reception will follow services at Rodrigo's Mexican Grill 8950 Central Ave, Montclair.
