

Juan M. Castaneda, 60, of Chino, passed away on March 23, 2012 at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, California. He was born September 29, 1951 in Tijuana, Mexico and was a Chino resident for 28 years. Juan was a truck driver for Roadway/ YRC until his retirement in July of 2009. He served proudly in the United States Army; Korea, Vietnam. Juan was Regional Commioner for AYSO Chino. He belonged to Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach, Ca and was a member of the Army Veteran Vietnam. Juan is survived by his wife Ave Castaneda; his son Juan Castaneda Jr; step-son Jorge Andres Soto; and his daughters Nicole Mejia, Sophia Castaneda and Marina Castaneda. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Nathan, Lucas, Jayden, Xavier and David.
