Paul H. Gonzalez

Paul H. Gonzalez, 81, of Ontario, passed away October 21, 2011 in Upland, Ca. He was born June 7, 1930 in Chino. Paul lived in Chino for 25 years prior to moving and resided in Ontario for over 56 years. He was a self-employed concrete contractor for 45 years prior to his retirement in June of 2004. Paul attended Chino schools until his 11th grade year. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. Paul was a Knights of Columbus Lifetime Member and a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills. Paul is survived by his wife Dolores; children Martha Gonzalez of Ontario, Yolanda (Rick) Martinez of Alta Loma, Paul (Maria) Gonzalez of Ontario, Christina (Don) Edwards of Hemet, Phillip (Liz) Gonzalez of Ontario; siblings Anna Ortiz of Chino, Robert Gonzales of Ontario; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Margaret Gonzales, brothers Joe and Tony, sons Manuel and Patrick and grandsons Robert Gonzalez and Phillip M. Gonzalez Jr. A viewing will be 9 a.m, Friday, October 28, 2011 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills with rosary at 9:30 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m preceding the rosary.
