Vincent Eric Yepez

Vincent Eric Yepez was born on November 25th, 1964. Immediately upon birth, he was blessed to be adopted by loving parents, Vincente and Betty Yepez. His family was then completed by his younger brother, Mark Yepez. Vince spent his wonderful childhood in Pomona, CA, surrounded by family that loved and cared for him. He graduated from Don Bosco Technical School in an accelerated program to study his passion of mechanical engineering.

Later in life, he was contacted by his sisters, Mary and Sabra, to find out that he also came from a large and diverse biological family. Over the years he was blessed to meet many of his siblings and even more fortunate to develop loving relationships with them.

Vince worked for Essex Property Trust as a Sr. Maintenance Technician. This job not only catered to his passion for using his technical skills to fix things, but it also allowed him to connect with people and service their needs. He was a beloved team member of all the communities that he worked for.

Most importantly, he was a father. He was blessed to have two sons, Vincent Eric and Anthony, that he raised to be strong, caring, and independent men. He not only was a loving father, but he was an even better friend.

Vince passed away on April 20th, 2022, after his hard-fought battle with cancer. He was blessed to be in the comfort of his own home and surrounded by people that loved him. We remember him for the man he was and will love him forever.
