I just found out today (what would be her birthday) that she is gone. I met Carolyn in 5th grade, when her family moved to Fillmore, CA. She & I became best friends. We shared many good times. We remained in contact throughout the years - meeting up at times when I lived in the Central Valley of CA. I moved to Oregon & was always inviting her & her family to come up, but they never made it. But at least I always heard from her at Christmas with nice, long notes recapping the year. I'm so sorry she is gone. I will miss her. My thoughts to her family on this day.

I knew Carolyn when she was a teenager in Fillmore, California.  Carolyn and her family lived down the street from where my family lived. Carolyn always had a beautiful smile and nice words to say about everyone.  It sadden me greatly to know she is no longer with us.  My prayers go out to her husband and family.

I think my favorite memory is when Carolyn and Bobby gifted Danielle a market goat. The look of surprise and speechlessness from Danielle made my day. It was such a kind and generous gift. A gift that took us down that crazy road of goat ownership. lol. Carolyn was generous to all the kids at the high school, offering advice and always lending a helping hand.  She was an amazing lady and will be greatly missed. 

We became close friends with Carolyn and her family when David started teaching Ag at Chowchilla High School. Carolyn was a one of a kind lady and friend. Her warm smile and kind heart were her trademark. She would drop anything that she was doing and come on the run to lend a helping hand for those who needed her. What a giving spirit. We love you dear friend and will miss you and your beautiful smile. David and Phyllis♥️

Carolyn’s Family,

I was so saddened to read of Carolyn’s sudden passing. I enjoyed reconnecting with Carolyn through social media, sharing recipes and enjoying memories of years gone by. She was such a sweet gal with a big smile and positive comments for all.

I hope you find peace in your memories. And, may Carolyn lay in peace. 

One of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. So many memories of her. Always there at every fair, always willing to help others out. So supportive of my family always. Loved the fun we had at 4H and FFA events, the Grizzly Game for Scholarship night for Brittany was alot of fun too. Brittany's graduation party and the photo booth fun will never be forgotten! But the recent memory I have is last year my husband and I had some health issues and Carolyn signed up to bring us meals a couple times. One particular day she shows up with dinner even though they were in the middle of evacuating animals from the Creek Fire, this shows just the type of lady she was. She will be missed so much!

When Carolyn moved to Madera with her family she immediately became my best friend as we had one thing in common, horses. 
I want to share a picture of Carolyn and I, we must have been about 17 and were at a 4H horse show play day. We had to ride my horse double and then at one point the person in back had to turn around and face backwards. Carolyn turned around and hooked her feet under my horses’s flanks and hung on. Well Carolyn and I won first place because everyone else’s horses were bucking and my horse just breezed right through like it was nothing. We were number one. 
I will always cherish the times we spent riding horses all over the place. I will also remember your mom teaching me how to clean a chicken. Lol. 

I remember Carolyn from First Assembly of God.  She was my sunday school teacher and gave me my first Bible for learning the 23rd Psalms.  She touched many lives.  My prayers are with her family and friends.

Shocked to hear of Carolyn's passing.  I will always  remember Carolyn's upbeat personality, her kind genuine ways, her generosity,  her love and concern for her family and the way she always was helping in various functions.  She definitely will be missed.  My condolences  go out to her family.

First off, my heart and prayers go out to the family.  One of the  fond memories I have of Carolyn was how she was so supportive of 4-H and everything involved with it.  She dedicated her heart and soul to ensure the members had the best experiences possible.  Carolyn touched many lives, Kristy and mine as well.  She will always be remembered.

Bobby and Kristina I am so sorry for your loss she was always so friendly to Phyllis and myself my prayers are with you

Dear Family;

We are deeply saddened to hear that Carolyn has died.  She and I were second cousin.  I remember her as a tiny little girl with long braided hair and so happy.

When we moved to Chowchilla in 1980, Carolyn was almost the first to come say hi and bring us a lovely gift.

Her grandmother, my Aunt Bessie and my grandma Mamie were best friends.  I know Carolyn best through the laughter and memories of her Grandma Bessie Foster.

I am so sorry her family has to endure this terrible loss.  Carolyn was such a kind and precious soul.
