Evelyn Lavern Bankston

Born July 18,1934 to Arthur and Tiny Moore in McAlester Ok, she was 1 of 7 children.

Evelyn was kind, caring and loved by everyone. Evelyn had a passion for doing crafts putting puzzles together. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Evelyn was a Cancer Survivor of many years.

Evelyn is survived by her son Roger (Sandra) of N Carolina, her daughters Ann Mooney of Elberton, GA, Gayle Denny of Chowchilla and Sherri (Jason) Page of Sacramento. And many grandchildren, Great and Great, great. She also leaves behind her brothers Bobby and Wilford Moore of New Mexico, and her sister Ina Faye of Sacramento.

She is Preceded in death by Husband Franklin D Bankston and her Son Dennis Bankston, her Brothers James and Ruben and Sister Lorene Renfro.

A Funeral Service will be held at Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Rd 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
