Jamie moved to Chowchilla when he was a young child with his parents and siblings and remained living here his entire life with his family and friends.
Laughter was a big part of Jamie's life; He loved to make people laugh with his crazy jokes. One of his favorite things to do was to throw a frisbee, with others or by himself. If you were around Jamie, he would always be playing music and singing, especially when he was cooking.
Jamie worked in local restaurant's for many years as a head cook. If you ever went to the Bedrock you had the chance to experience his cooking and singing.
Jamie is survived by his sons Joseph Michael, Jesse and Jason Williams; his brother Cecil Michael, and sister's Tammie Nimmo (Dave Nimmo) and Minnie Diaz (John Diaz).
Jamie was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou (Wallace) Michael and his father George Junior Michael, his brothers Sammy, Randy, and Timmy Michael.
Jamie also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the City of Chowchilla Veteran's Park on Main Street, Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 11:00 am.
