May 27, 1943 – February 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Richard Mack, 82, who entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2026, in Firebaugh, California. He was born on May 27, 1943, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gale Mack, who passed just two months prior. After a long and courageous battle with dementia, and with a heart that never stopped loving his wife, Jerry peacefully went home to be with the Lord. Those who knew him understood that his devotion to Gale was unwavering he simply could not live without her.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Flannery, and his brother, Cecil Mack.
Jerry leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his children, Mary Crow (husband Donny Crow), Frank Mack, Rachel Quintero (husband Jonathan Quintero), and Rosie Mack; his grandchildren, Christina Lozano (husband Miguel Lozano), Jessica Saunders, Timothy Combs, and Michael Combs; his great-grandchildren, Oliver Combs, Sammy Lozano, Benji Lozano, Leah Lozano, and Richard Combs; as well as loved ones Wayne Saunders and Roy Hubbs.
Jerry was a lifelong farm mechanic and truly a jack of all trades. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. With skilled hands and a creative spirit, he loved working with wood, crafting wagon lamps, birdhouses, and windmills. He found joy in fishing and camping with his family, making memories that will be treasured for generations.
He was known for his generous heart and warm hospitality. Jerry loved cooking and was famous among friends and family for the delicious pies he lovingly baked. He was fully dedicated to his family and loved them deeply.
Most importantly, Jerry accepted Christ into his heart many years ago and loved God with all his heart. His faith carried him throughout his life and into eternity.
Jerry was loved by all who knew him, and he will be missed more than words can express. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife and resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
