Melvin "Jack" Mosby, age 96, of Chowchilla, California passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Melvin was born May 14, 1925 to John and Rachel Mosby.

Melvin is survived by his sons Carl Mosby, Ray Prater (Cindy), his daughters Anna Safinick (Robert), Norma Davis, Janell Gallegos (Albert), his sister Margaret Allgood, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Melvin was preceded in death by his wife Janie Mosby of 47 years, son Greg Prater, his father John Mosby and his mother Rachel Mosby, brothers Ray Mosby, Murel Mosby, JD Mosby, Bob Mosby, and Troy Mosby.

A graveside service for Melvin "Jack" Mosby will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Chowchilla Cemetery District, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, CA.
