Ronald Elliott Lawson

He proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years, during Ronald's time in the Army he received the Bronze Star. He worked as the maintenance man at Chowchilla Hospital for 20 years, he was on the Chowchilla Planning Committee, a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, YMI, Chowchilla VFW, American Legion, and the Sportsman Club.

He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mathilde Lawson; daughters Cynthia Bartos and husband Al, Nancy Lawson, brothers John Lawson, Robert Lawson; grandsons Kyle Leigh Bartos, Cody Elliott Bartos, godsons Cole Crawford, Jack Crawford, Thomas Crawford, extended family Jenna Brewer, Jaydon Dickwald, and Gage Dickwald.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Orphus and Dorothy Lawson, grandparents Francis and Winifred Elliott.

A rosary service for Ronald will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at St. Columba Catholic Church, 233 Orange Avenue, Chowchilla, CA 93610. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 23, 2020 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 233 Orange Avenue, Chowchilla, CA 93610.
