Sue Ellen Demeter

Sue passed away on March 12, 2026 at home after a short illness with her family at her side.

After Graduating High School, Sue went to work in the Business Department at Stanford University.

In 1965 she married Joseph J. Demeter Jr. In 1972 her only child was born, a son Joseph J. Demeter III.

Later Sue and her family moved and made their home in Chowchilla in 1973, where she lived until she passed.

Sue is survived by her son Joseph J. Demeter III and wife Amber; her grandchildren, Hannah Demeter, Jessica Demeter, Dustin Figgins, and Shawna Andrews, her great Grandchildren, Keith, Wesley, Lucas, Hudson, Ellyanah, Braelynn, and Alice, and her sisters, Jane Harvey and Janice Enos.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Demeter Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Rd 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California, on March 24, 2026, at 10:00 am.
