Willie attended Chowchilla schools and graduated from Chowchilla High School in 1975. After high school, Willie began working as a tire technician for many years. He relocated to Fresno, California and then to Jacksonville, Florida before moving back to Chowchilla several years ago. He then started doing lawn maintenance for many years. Willie loved his mother dearly and they enjoyed working together in the yard.
Willie had a love for music and enjoyed playing his drums and most recently the guitar. He was an avid Lynyrd Skynyrd fan and enjoyed singing and playing their songs.
Willie is survived by his son Justin Tripp; his daughters, Jessica Tripp, Savannah Krieger, Sierra Tripp and Jackie Tripp; his mother Jackie Tripp White; his brother Roger Tripp and his sister Nema Flores; his companion Rhonda Croney and his very special uncle, Bob Anglin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dee Tripp; his father Alfred Junior Tripp; and his brother Jackie Reid Tripp.
A visitation for Willie will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel. Burial will follow at Chowchilla District Cemetery.
