Carroll was a graduate of Westfall High School, class of 1967, and THE Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and a former member of the Air National Guard. He also farmed for many years.
He is survived by brothers, John (Judy) Cook, Daniel (Debbie) Cook; nieces and nephew, Jamie (Jeremy) Schaal and Holly (Matt) Slusher, John R. Cool their children, Jude Schaal, Lily Slusher; Josh, Madison, and Emily Cook.
