

Howard “Jim” J. Clark, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the age of 89. He was born January 31, 1936 in Circleville, OH, the son of Howard and Violet May (Smith) Clark.
Jim was a graduate of Circleville High School, Class of 1954. After graduation, he served in the United States Army, and he was stationed in Japan. Upon returning home, he worked until his retirement at DuPont. He was also a graduate of Franklin University. He participated in the founding of the Girls Softball League where he also coached and umpired. After his retirement, Jim spent many years living in Arizona before returning home. He also loved animals and had many dogs.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Darren L. Clark; his parents, Howard and Violet Clark; his sister, Lou Ann Clark; and his brothers, Jack L. Clark and Michael E. Clark.
Jim is survived by his children, James K. Clark and Serena A. Isaac; his grandchildren, Timothy E. Isaac, Jr. and Matthew G. Isaac; his great-grandchildren, MJ and Bailey; his sister-in-law, Barbara Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim will be laid to rest at Forest Cemetery at a later date and time.
