Jennifer Evelyn Hurff

Jennifer Evelyn (née Diehl) Hurff, 72, of Circleville, passed from this life Friday, January 3, 2025, at home following an extended illness. She was born November 21, 1952, in Pickaway County, the daughter of Everett and Ruth (Bennett) Diehl. She was a 1970 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edward Hurff, in 1976, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three brothers, David (Vicki) Diehl, Everett "Sonny" Diehl, Jr., and Denny Robert (Donna) Diehl, all of Circleville; numerous nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, and just 4 short months ago, a sister, Jean Ellen Blair. Jennifer and Eddie lived and worked in Las Vegas for nearly 40 years. They were avid golfers, and Jennifer was often sought after to join several high-profile leagues in Las Vegas. She was also scorekeeper for professional golfers and tournaments. After retiring, Jennifer returned to Ohio to be near family. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main St., Circleville, OH 43113.
