

Kenny was born on April 19, 1966 in Circleville Ohio to Charles and Rosmary (Levan) Pennington. Kenny went to Circleville High School. He worked in asphalt his whole life. Other than his family, asphalt was the love of his life.
Kenny was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. Being a grandpa was his greatest blessing in life. Kenny loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandson. Kenny had 2 granddaughters that stole his heart the days they came into this world. He also had 5 grandsons and 1 great grandson who he cared deeply for. Kenny always put his kids and family before himself. He spent his retired life building floats for Logan Elm Health Care, riding his Harley and working on cars and trucks.
In addition to Kenny’s father, Charles Pennington, Kenny is preceded in death by his siblings, brother Tim Pennington and Arnold Pennington, and sister Connie Pennington.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Ellen Pennington and children, Tiffany (Calilou) Thiaw, Connie (Boo) Pennington, and Kenny (Cede) Pennington. His grandchildren Colton Pennington, Ethan Pennington, Katherine (Princess) Pennington, Mansour (Mr Max) Thiaw, Kora Jo (Pumpkin) Pennington, Charles Snow, and Zedien Snow. His great grandson Ibra (Hoss) Thiaw Pennington. He is also survived by his siblings Jeanie (Rich) Sark and Cindy Shephard along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio. A Funeral will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2025 with Reverend Beverly officiating. Kenny will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville, Ohio.
