Mona Barthelmas

Mona was born on September 27, 1947 in Circleville, Ohio to the late Asa C. and Martha Marquerite (Lane) Robison. She worked as a line worker with GE for over 35 years until her retirement. Following retirement, she worked with PICCA for over 10 years.

Mona was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. She loved traveling with her family and seeing new places. She especially loved going to Myrtle Beach and Frankenmuth. She loved the holidays and seasons. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she loved going to the Pumpkin Show. Her hobbies also included reading and puzzles. Mona loved nature and nature shows. She tried to never miss her Sunday morning routine of watching Charles Kuralt’s nature show and trips to Columbus. She loved all animals, but her favorite was her beagles.

In addition to her parents, Mona is preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Barthelmas; her siblings, Robert Ferguson, Naomi Reinhart, Donald Ferguson, and Everett “Bud” Ferguson.

Mona is survived by her sons, Aaron (Liz) Barthelmas and Mark (Erin) Barthelmas; her grandchildren, Taylor (Gavin) Colvin and Kathryn Barthelmas; her great-granddaughter, Rynlee Colvin; her sister, Linda Long; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Ty Myers officiating. She will be laid to rest next to Gary at Forest Cemetery.
