Donna Pauline Grandon

Donna was born October 13, 1923 in Louisville, IL to John William and Lotha (Griffy) Jones at Louisville, IL. She married Leon G. Grandon November 20, 1948 at Morganfield, KY. He preceded her in death May 7, 1990.

Donna was a housewife and worked at the International Shoe Factory at Flora, IL.

She was a strong Christian and went to Shiloh Church of Christ in Louisville, IL. She was a former member of Ladies Auxiliary at Clay County Hospital in Flora. She was a very loving friend to a lot of people and her family. She was always a fighter in every illness she had. Her grandson and great grandsons were the light of her life.

Donna is survived by two daughters Nancy Miller of Clay City, IL and Lana (Mike) Logsdon of Pinckneyville, IL; one grandson Jason (Tiffany) Cook of Gilbert City, AZ and three great grandsons Christian LaVigne, Landon Cook, and Cole Cook.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon, one sister Judith Jones, and one brother Leonard Jones, and one nephew.

Funeral services for Donna Grandon will be 10AM Monday, October 26th, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial will be in Bunker Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6pm Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Donna may be given to Shiloh Church of Christ or Flora Gardens and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
