

Naoma was born April 3, 1929 at DeQueen, AR to William and Willa (Hughes) Jacobs. She first married Leland Shepard in California and he preceded her in death in 1957. She later married Frank Bullock in 1958 in Illinois and he preceded her in death in 1996.
Naoma was a housewife and loved the outdoors. She was a member of Pleasant Hill ‘Brick’ Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Erie, IL.
Naoma is survived by one daughter Colleen (Jeff) Lucas of Wayne City, IL ; two sons Lonnie (Kathie) Shepard of Cisne, IL and Charles Shepard of Geff, IL; one step-daughter Phyllis Yohe of Mt. Erie, IL and one step-son Rodney Bullock of Front Royal, VA; and one sister Pat of Washington. Thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
Preceding her in death were two sons Michael and Glen, one step-daughter Barbara, her husbands, four sisters and her parents.
Funeral services for Naoma Bullock will be 10:30AM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Pleasant Hill ‘Brick’ Missionary Baptist Church near Mt. Erie. Burial will be in West Cemetery near Mt. Erie. Friends may call 6-8PM Friday at Hosselton Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the Baptist Nursing Home in Mt Carmel and may be sent to Oakview Heights Care and Rehab Center in Mt. Carmel.
