Robert Eugene Porter

He was born August 30, 1941 in Cisne, IL to Clarence and Floral (Turner) Porter. He married Linda F. Loudermilk on June 24, 1988 at Cisne, IL. She preceded him in death on December 12, 2002.

Robert worked as a set-up man at AMF in Olney, IL. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam era and was a member of the Cisne American Legion.

He is survived by one sister, Donna (Paul) Gibson and one brother, Ivan, all of Cisne; Two step-daughters, Janet Greene and Jeanette Harlan, both of Lawrenceville, IL; Three step-sons, James (Georgia) Harlan of Lawrenceville, IL, Dennis (Susanne) Harlan of Brownsburg, IN, and Steven (& companion William Adamson) Harlan of Evansville, IN; one nephew, Kyle Porter, and several grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one niece, Kathryn Porter.

Services for Robert Porter will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Hosselton Funeral Home, with burial in the Cisne Cemetery, with full military rites. Friends may call from 12:00 until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
