Ann Marcelle Brannan

Ann Marcelle Brannan, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Marcelle was born on February 3, 1934, in Johnston County to the late Marcelleus "Bud" and Emma Lee Spivey Brannan.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, D.B. Brannan and Billy Brannan, sisters, Frances Barbour, Elizabeth Adams and Edna Crocker. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, located at 12830 Clayton Boulevard, Clayton, North Carolina. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, with interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Clayton.
