Barbara Kalowitz Smallwood, age 77, of Benson, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Barbara was born in Vineland, NJ on December 19, 1945, to the late Alexander and Agnes Kalowitz. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 2:00pm at Hocutt Baptist Church in Clayton. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Cruz; grandchildren, Brandon, Ethan and Avery; and a son-in-law, Jose Cruz. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Smallwood.
