Mr. Billey Keith Sword, age 49, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, May 30, 2014.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, NC.
Keith was a native of Richlands, VA and the son of Louise Mitchell Sword of Richlands and the late Billey Estel Sword. He was a 1983 graduate of Richlands High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with Southern Industrial.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his spouse, Tammy Purdy Sword; four children, Cody Camacho, Zulena Tooley, Taylor Sword and Katelyn Jara, all of Smithfield, NC; two grandchildren, Cayden Lee Camacho and Skyler Jaxson Tooley, and two more grandchildren “on-the-way”; four sisters, Shirley and husband Jeff Waltmire of Tampa, FL, Teresa Sword of Atlanta, GA, Brenda and husband John Tsai Meu Chong, and Connie Sword, all of Plano, TX; two nieces; three nephews and one great nephew.
The family will receive friends following the service.
