Bonnie's mom passed away at the young age of 25, and Bonnie went to live with her paternal grandparents.
Her father later married Hope who became a wonderful mom to Bonnie and Bonnie gained two new sisters. Bonnie married the love of her life, David Wick, in 1962, and together had two wonderful daughters. Bonnie worked as a secretary for the State of Minnesota for 17 years in the unemployment division and for 13 years for Nortel in Human resources. Bonnie retired in 2005, and moved to North Carolina to be closer to her kids and grandkids. She always said God blessed her by leading her to Cottonfield Village where she met friends who became more like family. As Bonnie would always say, it's not goodbye, it's see you later.
She is survived by her mom, Hope; daughter, Daidre and son-in-law John; grandchildren, Brendan (Jordan), Nicolas (Elizabeth), Alec, Tyler, Kayden, Maddison (Edward), and Megan (Eli); great-grandchildren, Rosetta, Cooper, Micah, Sailor, Naomi, and Rosie; sisters, Barb and Joan; sister-in-law, Sharon; and countless cousins, nieces/nephews, and more. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Paulette, her husband, David, daughter Darcee, nephew Jeremy, brother-in-laws Jack and Mike, sister-in-law Maureen, and her beloved dog Muffin.
