Carmen Anthony Sidari

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 11, 2024 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Carmen was born in Syracuse, New York on July 1, 1955 to the late Dominic Nicholas Sidari and the late Carmella Mary Defio Sidari. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchild Lorenzo Laprease.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching football, going to the range, listening to music, and watching ghost shows.

He is survived by his partner of 45 years (married for 33) Virginia McIntyre Sidari; children, Kimberly Haywood (Chip), Nelson LaPrease (Shannon), Carmen Sidari Jr, Heather Sidari (Neal), Brittany Gallagher (Brandon), Kara Sidari-Lawton (Michael) and Mason Egan; grandchildren, Alexis Severson, Ryan LaPrease, Jada Jackowski, Jasmine, Jordan, Hunter, Bria, Gianni, and Eliana LaPrease, Bobby McCarthy, Genevieve and Austin Gallagher; great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Eleanor, Frank, Dominic, and Anna; brothers and sisters, Nicholas Sidari (Judy), and Sandra Schauer (Keith), as well as countless nieces and nephews.
