David Jackson Stewart, Jr, 64, passed away Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Mark White officiating. Burial will follow at the Vinson Family Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Julie J. Stewart, sons, Jacob Vinson Stewart and Nathan Johnson Stewart, sister, Beth Cox, uncles, Turner Vinson and Herman Vinson, all of Clayton. David was a member of the Wilson’s Mills Fire Dept. and was currently serving as their treasure. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McLaurin Funeral Home.
