Eddie was born on July 19, 1942 in Johnston County. Eddie graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton and worked his whole life to provide for his family. He retired as a machinist from Flowserve, formally known as Rockwell in Raleigh, NC. In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed collecting cars, fishing and playing slow-pitch softball. He loved being outside and watching sports on tv especially Carolina basketball. Eddie believed in Christ and knew the importance of faith and prayer. Eddie was stubborn, but took the most pride in making sure everyone was taken care of and getting along.
