WAKE FOREST – Edward “Eddie” Earl Tyree, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
Funeral services for Eddie will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2021, in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was born March 15, 1969 in Wake County to the late Douglas Tyree and the late Mary Lou Harris Tyree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Alan Tyree and Kay Tyree.
He was currently employed with Flowers Bread Company and worked for many years with Food Lion. Eddie was a wonderful hard working man, and a loving man he loved to drive his corvette. He would washed that car and he kept it clean. He will be missed forever.
He is survived by his wife Linda Butts Tyree; brothers and sisters, Karen Sealey, and Larry Tyree; and loving nieces and nephews.
