Rev. George Melvin Cotton June 17, 1927 – January 9, 2015 Rev. George Melvin Cotton, age 87, formerly of Grayson, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 09, 2015 in Clayton, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Monday, January 12, 2015 at Bethesda Baptist Church in Clayton with Reverend Gary Burden officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 14, 2105 at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Snellville where he will be laid to rest beside his late wife, Beatrice. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the church prior to the service In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Snellville Mission Fund.
