Mr. George Marion Stone

George M. Stone, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2015. A native of Sebree, KY, George was born April 7, 1934 to the late Clyde and Lula Mae Stone. He was a man that was proud to be a veteran and proud to have served his country. He was retired from the US Air Force, which he served for 22 yrs. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. George loved to collect all kinds of flags and loved to collect eagles. He also shared a great love for all animals. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Cecile Bussiere and his sister Betty Todd of Ky; His children are, Tina Rivera, of CT, Lionel Bussiere, of Four Oaks, NC, Donald Bussiere, CT; grandchildren, Jessica Bussiere and Scott Snay, of Clayton, Brandon, Corey, Bethany, and Andrew Bussiere, of Four Oaks, and Sadie and Ashley Bussiere. of CT; great grandchildren, Jesalyn Andino and Annalise Rivera; and his furry family, Brownie, Milo, Chance, Indio, Zoey, Charlie and Joker. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jordan Alexander Andino.

Visitation will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US Highway 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520, on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6-8pm and full military honors will be held on October 27, 2015 1 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
