James Lester Peele, Jr. was born January 14, 1956 and went home to his Heavenly Father on November 4, 2023. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lester Peele and his sister, Gwen P. Ennis.
He is survived by his mother, Doris G. Peele; wife, Cindy B. Peele; daughters, Stacey P. Dean and husband, Joshua, Lindsey P. Broadwell and husband, Matthew; two beautiful grandchildren, Emma Grace and Noah Dean and another precious granddaughter on the way, Stoney James Broadwell.
He is also survived by his loving, caring and supportive sisters and their husbands, Jan and Harvey Moss, Gail and Kent Southerland and Vickie and John Olds. He is surrounded in love by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Clayton Area Ministries or Serve the Need of Johnston County. We will always love him, forever miss him but never forget him.
A memorial service for James will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00am at Amelia Christian Church, 1696 Amelia Church Rd, Clayton, North Carolina.
