

Jason was born on December 16, 1967, and spent his early childhood in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1977, he moved with his family to Cary, North Carolina, where he was raised. He later attended Campbell University, then North Carolina State University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
Jason built a long and respected career. He worked for International Paper, which later became Evergreen Packaging, where he served as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for over 25 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and the respect he earned from his colleagues throughout his career.
Jason eventually made his home in Clayton, North Carolina. Outside of work, he loved sports and had a naturally competitive spirit. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh. Whether through a quick joke or his playful personality, Jason enjoyed having a good time and making sure those around him did too.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Williams. He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Reed Williams.
Jason is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Valerie Williams. He was a proud and loving father to his three daughters Joelle, Jenna Daniels and her husband Bryan, Jaclyn Grantham and her husband Jason. He was also a caring stepfather to Josh Guevara and his wife Nicole, and Tyler Guevara.
He is also survived by his brother, Jarrod Lee Williams and his wife, Kris; his close cousin, Beth Reed; as well as several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
One of Jason’s greatest joys in life was being a grandfather. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Collin Daniels, Landon Daniels, Nora Guevara, Emmy Guevara, and a precious grandson expected soon. He loved each of them dearly and took great pride in watching his family grow.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Peggy Jensen, Yolanda Williams, Waynel Anderson, and Celeste Railey for the compassionate care, support, and kindness they showed Jason and the family during his time of need. Their dedication and friendship will always be remembered.
Jason will be remembered for his strength, his generous heart, his humor, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A visitation will be held at The Church @ Clayton Crossings, 11407 US 70 Hwy Bus W, Clayton, NC 27520, on March 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00pm followed by a celebration of life service at 2:30 pm. The interment will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton, NC.
