Jensen Scott Jackson

Jensen Scott Jackson, age 2, of Garner, NC, tragically left this world too soon and gained his angel wings on July 6, 2025. Born on February 22, 2023, in Abingdon, VA, Little Jensen came into this world alongside his twin brother Dean to parents Dylan Jackson and Kayla Blue.

Ever since Jensen was born, he took the world by storm. He came into this world with his brother, but made sure his special personality was always seen no matter what. From the minute he was able to hold himself upright, he would bounce in his bouncer, threatening to always tip it over with his excited bounces. Then, he started walking, which led to actual bouncing when he got excited. When a show would come on the tv that he liked, he would bounce like crazy at the tv. His favorites were Super Simple Songs, Ms. Rachel, Blippi, and the planets. He was a baby of few words, but he always let you know how he was feeling with his smiles.

This little guy LOVED his numbers. If you would start counting, he would stop whatever he was doing just to watch and participate in counting with you. If a toy, box, or anything had numbers, he was transfixed with it. And this little guy loved boxes, any boxes. Regular cardboard boxes, cereal boxes, even diaper boxes. He loved all of them and would pick them over other toys. He loved how things were put together and was constantly trying to figure out how the world worked.

There are no words to express how much he will be missed by our whole family. He was an absolute delight, the brightest ray of sunshine. His life may have been cut short, but he will always be loved. He will always be thought of, and he will always be in our hearts.

He’ll always be mommas’ baby, and I’ll never forget how his little head felt cuddled up on my shoulder telling me how much he loved me too. I’ll always, always love him.

He is preceded in death by his great grandpa, Allen Roy Schutz, who is looking after him in heaven.

Sweet little Jensen is survived by his father, Dylan Jackson; mother, Kayla Blue; his twin brother, Dean, and oldest brother Tobias; grandparents, Kristine Schutz, Steve McQueen, and Michael Denstone; maternal uncle and aunt, Wayne and Gabbie Pierce; and great grandma, Kathy Schutz.

Heaven has gained a beautiful, sweet baby angel that will be thought of every day until we see his face again. We love you Jensen.
