Mrs. Kathleen Goodwin Shaw, 92, of Raleigh died Sunday morning, July 12, 2015. She was born April 26, 1923 in Wake County, daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Goodwin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Madison Shaw. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Strickland and fiancée Dale Parker of Clayton and Diane Tyson and husband Charlie of Nashville, four grandchildren, Alyson Henry and husband Sean of Clayton, Samantha Strickland of Clayton, Adam Tyson of Nashville, and Courtney Titus and husband Glen of Wilmington, and one great grandchild, Lucy Titus. Arrangements are being handled by McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton.
