Kenneth Emmanuel Dixon Jr.

CLAYTON, NORTH CAROLINA – Kenneth Emmanuel Dixon, Jr., age 67, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his residence.

There will be no formal service. A time of visitation and receiving friends will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2-4 at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton.

He was born in the Bronx of New York on March 19, 1954 to the late Kenneth Emmanuel Dixon, Sr. and the late Martha Epps Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Gwendolyn ‘Penny’ Dixon, sister Barbara Ford, and brother Robert ‘Robbie’ Dixon.

He was employed as a Certified Public Accountant by Reichhold Chemicals. He was a huge sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and New York Knicks.

He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Dixon Gall (John Gall), and Sandra Fields Daniels (Melvin Daniels); grandchildren, Kristin Blow, Felicia Blow, and Kenneth Gall; great-grandchild, Brayden Matthews; nephews, Bruce Ford, Brian Ford Sr, and Brian Ford Jr.; and brother-in-law Arnold Blackman.
