Khosro Neshat (June 30, 1951-March 12, 2022) passed away peacefully at the age of 70. A long term resident of Raleigh, NC, he was born in Tehran, Iran to the late Hassan Ali Neshat and the late Makhlougheh Neshat. He is survived by his loving wife Masti, and children Dariush, Kourosh (Lauren), Lalleh, and Nushaa, as well as his mother, Manijeh Neshat. Khosro was the adored Baba G to his grandchildren, Sofia and Luca. He was a treasured sibling to Safinaz (Siamak) Amirpashaie and Khashayar (Carol) Neshat, as well as a caring brother-in-law to Mohammad (Mary) Malek. Khosro was a devoted uncle, cousin, colleague, and friend.
After graduating from N.C. State in 1974, he began a long and successful career at IBM and later Toshiba. Khosro’s pastimes included golf as well as playing chess and guitar. He was a dedicated fan of Chelsea Football Club and N.C. State Wolfpack—spending many hours with his family rooting for both teams. Loved by all, he had a quiet, polite demeanor, but a larger than life presence. He was always willing to help and never asked for anything in return. His legacy will continue through the stories and memories he left behind.
Khosro will be laid to rest in McLaurin Funeral Home & Pinecrest Memorial Park on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. 12830 US 70 Bus Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520.
