Mark was a great guy. I can say with conviction that he was one of the best managers that I worked for in my 35 years at IBM. Whether he was my manager or a colleague, I can say that he that he was always approachable, attentive, and gentle. He had a great sense of humor, too. He will be missed. Sympathies to the family 

Mark hired me into IBM in 1996 and was a great manager.  Very supportive, kind and compassionate.  It was a pleasure to work with him for many years.  My condolences to his family.  

My deepest condolences to the family.  I’ve know Mark for many years- he was my manager back when I was a QE in RTP.  As many have mentioned, he was a super nice guy and dedicated employee.  He will be missed greatly. 

I had the pleasure to know and work with Mark for several years. He was always a gentleman with true professionalism, dedication and integrity. Simply stated, he made everyone around him better. My sincere condolences to his family on their loss. 

I met Mark two months back. He is my mentor on current project and transitioning his knowledge to me. He was very calm, friendly, supportive. He was very professional in his approach. He gave respect to other people, want to listen their ideas and discuss things before reaching to conclusion. I am very sad to lose him. My condolences to the family during difficult time. Mark will be always remembered for this amazing work and friendly nature.

While I didn’t know Mark very well, I know he was highly regarded by all those who worked closely with him. My prayers are with all of his family, in particular, Masti, who I had the pleasure to know through her salon. May God bless all of you during this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear of Mark's passing.  I have worked with Mark for the past 9-10 years at TGCS and he was a pleasure to work with - always friendly, professional, and diligent.  He will be missed by all.  Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

A great guy to work with and just talk to. He even laughed at my stupid jokes.  You are already missed. 

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Khosoro. He was a kind, gentle man who had a deep passion for his family. I remember him being quiet, but when he spoke you better listen to his wise words.

You often hear the phrase, "he was the nicest guy in the world you 'd ever meet". 

Baba G. wasn't that guy... he was the guy who taught all the others how to do it.  

He was a kind, gentle soul and will be missed.

I love that last year at soccer practice for little ones, Sofia was the only one with soccer shoes bought by her Baba G.  He was a kind and gentle man who will be sorely missed. 

We were saddened to hear of Khosro’s passing. We met him over twenty years ago and  he was such a kind-hearted man.  Whenever we saw him on our visits to North Carolina he always took the time to talk to us and find out what was going on in our lives. Khosro always made us feel welcome, like we were part of the family. Our sincerest sympathies are extended to the entire family.  He will be deeply missed. 

I have fond memories of working with Mark for many years at IBM and Toshiba. I always admired Mark's integrity in all things at all times. It was a pleasure to call Mark a friend as well as a colleague. My condolences to his family for your loss. 

Mark was one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  He loved is Chelsea soccer and NC State Wolfpack.  More importantly he loved his family most of all.  I know his kids and grandkids were his pride and joy.  A gentle soul who had the respect of everyone around him.  He will be missed greatly but never forgotten.   

So saddened to hear of Mark's passing.  I worked for and with Mark at IBM and Toshiba Global Services for many years.  He hired me into the retail store solutions business.  He was the best manager I ever worked for.  Mark was always kind , gentle and considerate.  Mark's guidance and intelligence were unmatched.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand whether or not it was work related.  My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.  May Mark rest in eternal peace.

Baba G was the most wonderful man - kind, smart, thoughtful, generous, and loving. He would come to our home 3 times a week to spend time with his grandchildren and help out with the kids until we were finished with work. Then on Saturday morning we would bring the kids to his house so he could spend more time with them. We treasure the memories and are so lucky we were able to spend so much time together over the past several years. He was the best father in law and will be forever missed. I hope to honor his legacy by teaching my children dedication, compassion, and love. 

Khosro officiated my Persian wedding ceremony when I married his brother Khash in Charlotte in 2001. He recited the entire ceremony in both Farsi and English so that everyone in attendance would understand the ceremony. He went into great detail to ensure everyone felt included. That was the kind of man he was.  Khosro was the kindest man, gentlest soul. Quiet but you always felt his presence. A tremendous loss to us all.  He will be greatly missed. 

Mark was a wonderfully kind supportive person. He hired me in 1994 to join the IBM Retail Store Division, as a transferee from Poughkeepsie NY.   I worked for Mark for many years, and he was a gem.  He even came to my house when I was away overseas on business to make sure family was ok during a winter snow storm.

Thank you to his family for sharing this kind smart man with us.  We collectively grieve his loss.

I knew Mark for many years working together at IBM and TGCS.  He was my manager twice !  He was a great manager.   Mark was always a pleasure to work with.  He showed much care and respect for everyone.  Mark will be greatly missed.  Sending condolences and peace to his family.

I worked with Mark for many years. He has always been extremely helpful with my requests and so patient to answer my endless questions. Nothing is too difficult for Mark, he always has a solution. It was an absolute joy and privilege to work with Mark and we will always remember him here. He has been a wonderful colleague and his passing is a great loss to a lot of us. A great soul, may he rest in peace.  Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

So very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I worked for him and with him for many years in the retail systems group and had great respect for his technical abilities but even more for his always kind and calm demeanor. His passing is certainly a loss to this world. To the family, please accept my condolences.
