Lawrence Noel "Larry" Gibson Jr.

Lawrence Noel Gibson Jr., passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 64. Larry was born on October 2, 1958 in Niceville, FL to the late Lawrence N. and Betty Morris Gibson. He was a hard worker, a man of many trades, had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it, that is the kind of man he was. He loved his family and his dogs and you couldn't ask for a better friend. He helped any and everybody and was always just a phone call away, a true definition of a friend. He definitely always had a way of making people laugh with his sarcasm. His smart-ass comments were a part of his love language. To know him, was to love him. Those pretty blue eyes and smile of his sure could light up a room.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Gibson; his son, Josh Gibson and wife, April; daughters, Brandy Carroll and Angela Carroll; brother, David Gibson and wife, Cindy; two granddaughters he adored, Haylee and Willow; three handsome grandsons, Phillip, Dilan and Seth. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Gibson. Larry's giving spirit didn't end with his death, his memory will live on through others as he chose to be an organ donor and help others. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service celebrating Larry's life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 4:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:00pm and following the service at Larry and Mary's home.
