

Mrs. Carroll was well loved by all of her customers during her years as a waitress at the Shiny Diner of Clayton. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her most favorite moments in life were those spent sipping coffee on the balcony at SeaWatch Resort in Myrtle Beach.
She is survived by her sons, Larry W. Carroll, Jr. and his wife Annette of Clayton, NC, Douglas William Carroll and his wife Ellen of Zebulon, NC, James (Jimmy) Lesher and his wife Penny of Charleston, WV, Kevin Ray Lesher and his wife April of Lafayette, IN; daughter, Misty Michelle Byrd and her husband (and Linda's favorite son-in-law) Kevin of Clayton, NC; five sisters, Norma Vanover of Lundale, WV, Liz (Pete) Johnson of Stanley, NC, Elaine Bailey of Stanleytown, VA, Judy (Paul) Ellis of Glen Daniel, WV, Lisa (Tom) Moore of Lester, WV; two brothers, Eddie (Sandra) Maynard of Clarksville, TN, and Paul (Jennifer) Maynard of Hanover, WV; grandchildren, Nicholas Carroll, Justin Lesher, Cody (Kayla) Lesher, Brittany Hoosier, Kevin Lesher II, Virginia Lesher, Austin Carroll, Megan (Stephen) Lines, Gracie Dean, Alexis "Byrdie" Byrd, and Kamryn Byrd; great-grandchildren, Elliott Lesher, Bradon Chambers, Aslynn Hoosier, Thomas Morrow, Austin Morrow, Eugenia Weaver, Paisley Dean, Stephen Lines, Levi Lesher, and Andy Lesher; great-great grandchild, Hayden Chambers; along with a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Larry W. Carroll; a brother, Donnie Maynard; and a great nephew, Jaxon Cole Cook.
