Ray Crowder, 77, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 7, 2014. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm followed by a funeral service at 3pm, Monday, June 9, 2014, at Everett Chapel FWB Church, 307 Everett Ave., Clayton, NC. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Ray is survived by his loving wife Joyce Byrd Crowder; two children, Greg Crowder (Debbie) and Kimberly Warwick (Scott); grandsons, Noah Crowder, Will Warwick, Mac Warwick; granddaughter, Kelly O’Brien (Jason); brother, Larry Crowder; sisters, Margaret Ward, Joyce Laman, Betty Pollard, Johnnie Brown, Connie Jones, Laura Sealey, Bille Radford, Eva Ennis, and Carol Barefoot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Julia Crowder; and a sister Judy Crowder. While flowers are appreciated memorial contributions may also be made to Everett Chapel FWB Church, 307 Everett Ave., Clayton, NC.
