Peggy Ford Jarman

Peggy was born April 23, 1946, in Raleigh, NC, the daughter of the late Ernest Arther Ford and Katherine Lula Perry Ford. Peggy has a sister and brother, twins Ernestine Hicks and Bobby Ford.

Peggy graduated from Broughton High School in 1964. She went on to marry Charles Jarman on November 19, 1964, and started their family. Peggy had two sons and one daughter. Her first born, Chuck then came Steve quickly thereafter. Cindy was born 10 years later.

Peggy was a very proud grandma to Katherine, Elizabeth, Logan, Jordan, Rachel and Preston.

Once her children were older, she worked at Wake Tech Community College for many years before retiring to her new role as full-time grandma.

Peggy was a selfless, caring and kindhearted person who put her family above all and will truly be missed. She will leave an empty space in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Peggy will be remembered with love, always in our minds, forever in our hearts.

A visitation for Peggy will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with the committal service following at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton.
