Robert “Bo” R. Ellington, Jr., 77, passed away on May 19th, 2016. A native of Raleigh, Robert was born December 16, 1938 to the late Robert R. and Eva D. Ellington. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Bazzi, of Windsor, CA and Toni Keener, of Salem, OR; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Ellington; sisters, Peggy Olive, Barbara Ellington, Vivian Atkins, Diane Waters, and Susie Brown. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ellington. Robert joined the Airforce when he was 18 and served the country for 4 years as a radio repairman. Always one to enjoy tinkering, his vocation was as an auto mechanic. Robert was retired and enjoyed gardening, fishing and woodworking. He enjoyed his last two years in the company of his children and grandchildren In Oregon. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 3pm at Oakland Presbyterian Church, 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton, NC 27520.
