Roberta “Bertie” Taylor Payne, daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Taylor passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 77. A memorial service celebrating Bertie’s life will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Payne; sons, Chris Payne and his wife, Paula, and Andy Payne; daughter, Susie Payne Locklear and her husband, Hearbert; grandchildren, Mikaela, Cameron, Bryce, Caleb, Katie and Saige; brother, Gary Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Sue Dye and her brother, Charlie Taylor.
