Roger Rudolph “Boot” Watkins April 10, 1940 – June 27, 2014 Clayton – Roger Rudolph “Boot” Watkins, age 74, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence after a lengthy illness. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Parrish Watkins; three children, Valerie Brown and husband Matthew, Monica Colopy and Shelia Adams; seven grandchildren, MacKenzie, Maggie, Audrey, Lilly, Milo, Mattie and Finn; one brother, Charles Watkins; adopted son, Joey Parrish; and best friends, James Williams and Brent & Julie McLeod.
